Poor Man's Finite Element Analysis Graphics Program


For my final project, I propose to build a 3-d, user interactive, graphical Finite Element Analysis computer.
I plan on having fixed 3-d geometry.  Users will be able to rotate the view of this model, select elements
in the model and change their properties (ie material).  The program will display selected material by color.  
The User will then select add or more 3-d forces to any point on the structure.  Finally the program will 
animate the deformation of the structure with the applied forces, and show areas of high stress with color.
